Prominent Indian batsman KL Rahul was recently spotted working hard in the nets in preparation for the 17th Duleep Trophy. Rahul was seen practicing and getting ready for the forthcoming domestic season in a video that has gone viral on social media.
The great batsman performed poorly in the most recent ODI series against Sri Lanka and was left out of India’s winning T20 World Cup team. In the first game, he scored thirty-one runs; in the second, he was out of the starting lineup for the third One-Day International.
In the first round of the Duleep Trophy, KL Rahul is a member of Team A, which is led by Shubman Gill. With the Test season in India approaching, there will be great expectations for his performance in the competition as well.
It is important to remember that India will be getting ready for a lengthy test season soon after the Duleep Trophy. The team will play two Test matches against Bangladesh before playing three more against New Zealand.
In addition, following a few domestic series, India will get ready for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024–2025, when the team hopes to win three straight series in Australia.
