The Gujarat bowling assault destroyed the home team’s batting order in the first inning. Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad bowled outstanding periods, which resulted in Rajasthan being bowled out for a pitiful 118 runs.
Gujarat dominated the opposition during the run chase, winning by nine wickets because of outstanding performances from Wriddiman Saha, Shubman Gill, and captain Hardik Pandya. Aakash Chopra also questioned why Sanju Samson did not use spinners during the powerplay, given that spin bowling was responsible for destroying their batting order during the first inning. He even continued by claiming that he had no idea what the game was all about.
Rajasthan’s only wicket-taker throughout the run chase, Yuzvendra Chahal, dismissed the in-form Shubman Gill, but it was in vain as Gujarat’s skipper Hardik Pandya’s blazing knock after the loss of the first wicket powered Gujarat to a convincing victory.
