The third and last Test of Team India’s current series is scheduled to match against New Zealand. In Bengaluru and Pune, respectively, the two teams faced off in the first two Test matches. Following a strong showing by the visitors, New Zealand defeated India and won the series.
The Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai will host the third Test of the series. Starting on November 1, both teams will compete as India tries to prevent more defeats while New Zealand aims for a whitewash.
Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra recently spoke out regarding the possible inclusion of Harshit Rana in the playing XI in the Mumbai Test, which is the subject of numerous discussions over the hosts’ possible lineup ahead of the third Test.
One member of the Test squad is Harshit Rana. I find it fascinating. He has a young, elite career, yet there is investment in him. The new management is making an investment on Gautam Gambhir. But up until now, it appeared that there was outside backing, similar to a coalition government, where you are with them but still not there,”
Aakash Chopra stated in a video posted to his YouTube account.
“You were a member of the team for the home series, but you were not given an opportunity to play after travelling to Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. You have also been chosen to receive the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, though. In his first-class career, he has participated in 10 games overall, but in the most recent game, he took five wickets and scored fifty runs. so that he can bat and bowl,” Chopra continued.
