Abhishek Bachchan visits Dublin to promote European T20 Premier League

Abhishek Bachchan, a well-known actor, sports fan, and businessman, traveled to Dublin to promote his investment in the European T20 Premier League (ETPL),

A brand-new franchise cricket league that is poised to transform cricket in Europe.

The ETPL is a special collaboration between Ireland, Scotland, and the Netherlands that was approved by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in January 2025. It consists of six franchise teams, two in each of the three countries. There will be exciting T20 cricket action this summer when the debut season is held in Dublin and Rotterdam.

With the combined support of Cricket Ireland, Cricket Scotland, and Cricket Netherlands, the ETPL exhibits an unparalleled degree of cooperation and dedication to expanding the game throughout the region, in contrast to other leagues that are usually backed by a single national board. With the ability to interact with the whole European market (except from England), the ETPL provides unmatched market depth.
