On Saturday, April 12, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s opener Abhishek Sharma faced the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Hyderabad and delivered one of the tournament’s most memorable knocks. With an outstanding century at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium this season, the young southpaw at last found his footing. In an interview, Abhishek’s mother expressed her emotional response to her son’s incredible century.
Abhishek Sharma’s knock transformed the game for SRH, who immediately appeared out of the game with a 246 target.
Abhishek assisted the squad in chasing down the total with relative ease after scoring 141 runs off just 55 deliveries. Before the scathing blow, his mother and his SRH colleagues discussed his dismal tournament performance in a video that the IPL recently released.
“Sabko khushi hai, maa ko bhi khushi hai, ki match jeeteya khushi hai pure Hyderabad ko.” Thoda stop lag gaya tha lekin ab nahi lagega, ab continue chalega (We won the match, and they’re all happy—me included, and everyone in Hyderabad). In the video, Abhishek’s mother stated, “There was a little halt earlier, but not anymore – it’s going to continue now.”

The Sunrisers Hyderabad season to come
Even though SRH put on an amazing display in the most recent game, they still have a lot more games remaining to play to improve their season. In their two forthcoming games, they will take on the Mumbai Indians, who they have defeated twice in their last six games. The Wankhede Stadium will host the second game on April 23 after hosting the opening game on April 17.
The Orange Army will need to win the next eight games to bounce back from a stretch in which they had dropped four straight games before to their historic run against the Punjab Kings.
