All 11 of Delhi’s players bowled in the opening innings of the match between Manipur and Delhi at the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024, marking a first for T20 cricket.
On Friday, November 29, Manipur and Delhi’s squared off at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium to start the match.
The first innings of the match saw Manipur bat first and be held to a total score of 120 runs. To the astonishment of all, though, every one of Delhi’s eleven players bowled at least one over during the match—something that has never occurred in T20 cricket history.
With two wickets each, Harsha Tyagi and Digvesh were the top wicket-takers. Delhi held Manipur to 120 runs with one wicket each from Ayush Singh, Ayush Badoni, and Priyansh Arya.
