Ambati Rayudu and his wife blessed with baby boy
Ambati Rayudu, a former Indian cricketer, and his wife Chennupalli Vidya have had their third child, a son.

The 40-year-old cricketer used Instagram to convey the joyful news. He shared a selfie from the hospital that clearly shows his wife and a newborn.

The Guntur-born captioned the post by saying:

“Happy to have been blessed with a baby boy.”

The couple became parents for the first time with the birth of a baby girl named Vivya in July 2020, and were again blessed with a baby girl in May 2023.

Reacting to the birth of their third child, many prominent cricketers, including Shikhar Dhawan, Harbhajan Singh, RP Singh, and Deepak Chahar, congratulated the couple.

His former IPL team, Chennai Super Kings, too, conveyed their wishes uniquely.

“Happy to see our lil Bahubali Congrats to both of you,” CSK wrotem.

The two first crossed each other’s paths during their college days in Hyderabad. Since then, Ambati Rayudu’s journey on and off the field has been closely shaped by the constant presence of his wife, Chennupalli Vidya.

From thereafter, a simple friendship gradually turned into a lifelong partnership. Their bond grew steadily over the years, leading to marriage on Valentine’s Day in 2009.

Rayudu, who retired from all forms of Cricket in 2023, is widely considered as one of India’s most talented players. He debuted for India in 2023 and played 55 ODIs while amassing 1694 runs at an impressive average of 47.05.

He also enjoyed a legendary career when it comes to the IPL. The right-hand batter has won the marquee tournament a staggering six times, while representing two most successful IPL teams, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. He remains the player with the most IPL titles, along with Rohit Sharma.
