Apollo Tyres has won the sponsorship rights for the Indian cricket team by outbidding Canva and JK Cements with a record-breaking offer of INR 579 crore. The three-year pact includes 121 bilateral matches as well as 21 ICC fixtures, making it one of the most lucrative sponsorship deals in Indian cricket history.
The Gurgaon-based Apollo tyres manufacturer, which operates in over 100 countries, won a three-way contest.
While Canva tendered INR 544 crore and JK Cements offered INR 477 crore, Apollo’s aggressive proposal won the deal. The deal’s per-match worth averages roughly INR 4.77 crore, though this figure may vary depending on the base costs granted to bilateral and ICC games. According to, the BCCI has established a basic price of INR 3.5 crore for bilateral matches and INR 1.5 crore for ICC World Cup fixtures.
This historic agreement comes after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was forced to cancel its contract with Dream11 following the passage of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, which banned real-money gaming in India. Dream11 made an INR 358 crore arrangement with the board. With the mandate reaching just before the Asia Cup, the Indian squad had to compete in the continental event without a jersey sponsor.
