With Jasprit Bumrah unlikely to play in the second Test, Arshdeep has a strong chance of getting his first red-ball cap.
The seamer has played extensively in white-ball cricket for India and has previous experience playing in English conditions, having competed in County Cricket.

Bumrah stated before that he would play three Tests in the series, depending on how his body handles the workload.
