Recently, Punjab Kings pacer Arshdeep Singh talked about his life since the 2024 Indian Premier League. The famous athlete asserted that change was the only thing that had altered in his life. He noted that for athletes who compete at the top level, it’s crucial to remain modest and grounded through life’s highs and lows.
The left-arm pacer stated that his main goals were to enjoy the moment and improve his mental well-being. Arshdeep was thrilled at the PBKS dressing room vibe and was looking forward to the IPL 2025. The renowned pacer stated that PBKS will have cause for celebration and that they will play a fun style of cricket. He thanked everyone for their more than 17 years of support of PBKS.
Even though life hasn’t altered much, it’s still enjoyable. Change is the only constant, as they say. At this level of play, it’s important to maintain stability and control the highs and lows. I put a lot of effort into becoming more present-minded and mentally resilient. I am really looking forward to this season. “The dressing room atmosphere is amazing, and the energy is fantastic,” Arshdeep remarked.
“When the team is under pressure, I like to step up,” said Arshdeep Singh.
“The team’s objective was to win the title and celebrate in Chandigarh with an open-bus parade,” the PBKS bowler revealed. “I love to step up under pressure and it feels good to know that I am trusted under pressure,” the left-armer added. According to the 26-year-old, his main goal should be to give it his all without worrying about the outcome.
“I like to step up when the team needs it, whether it’s to take wickets or stop runs. Knowing that they have faith in me is comforting when they give me the ball at pivotal times. The extra responsibility is something I truly like, no matter what. “I try not to feel the pressure and instead concentrate on giving the team my best effort,” Arshdeep continued.
The Indian pacer concluded by saying success doesn’t come overnight and felt the need to work hard amidst setbacks.
“Success doesn’t come overnight, but I ensure that any setbacks don’t affect my bowling. Every time I get another opportunity, I give my all to help the team win,” Singh concluded.
