During the second delivery of the 19th over of Match 29 of the current Indian Premier League between the Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians, Ashutosh Sharma and Mukesh Kumar got into a nasty collision while trying to hang onto a catch. Tilak Varma chopped a full ball that was angled across Mohit Sharma’s delivery.
The ball trickled towards the third man barrier after looping towards the backward point area, when Ashutosh from point and Mukesh at square third man collided head-on.
Mukesh was observed gripping his shoulder, and Ashutosh appeared to have injured his lip and ankle.
