Amidst the controversy that erupted a few days ago, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) spin wizard Ravichandran Ashwin recently prevented a panellist from discussing MS Dhoni during his YouTube video. After a dispute arose in one of his previous videos, Ashwin told his fans that he would not discuss CSK and their games in his YouTube videos.
Along with two other panellists, Ashwin was talking about the final few IPL 2025 games in the most recent segment. But, in keeping with the bowler’s pledge, they purposefully avoided discussing CSK’s prior game against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
During the conversation, one of the panellists discussed leadership abilities and the ways in which players like MS Dhoni,
Shreyas Iyer, and Sanju Samson have guided their teams in the Indian Premier League. He was in the middle of speaking when Ashwin abruptly cut him off and told him not to mention CSK or any of its players.
“You won the match, and I’m overjoyed. The only thing, Ashwin, is that you have been the team’s leader for a while. The TNPL has been won by your team. It is my belief that leadership is really significant. The panellist stated, “That leader is someone like Sanju, someone like Shreyas Iyer, someone like Thala Dhoni.”

After an analyst makes fun of the CSK team choices, Ashwin responds
When former South Africa and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) analyst Prasanna Agoram, one of the panellists, questioned the CSK management’s choice to include Noor Ahmad in the team despite having Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin available, the entire controversy broke out in the middle of the IPL. There was a great deal of controversy over this, particularly after reporters brought it up in a press conference with Stephen Fleming, the head coach of CSK.
“I’m not sure. That content is unknown to me, as I was unaware that he had a channel. “That’s not important,” Fleming stated.
As a result, Ashwin said on his YouTube channel that he will no longer analyse CSK or their games going forward after this.
