But this hasn’t stopped Tony Jones, a reporter for Channel 7, from openly criticising the Indian icon for this incident and calling him a bully.
According to Hindustan Times, Jones stated, “Nat was out there with a cameraman, a Channel 7 reporter was out there with his cameraman, and they were doing what we do on a daily basis, and that is be at the airport to actually get identities, whether they are politicians, whether they are sporting identities, or whatever.”
When I saw the video, what really made me laugh was when he turned to face the three men—the two cameramen and the Channel 7 reporter—and stated, “You guys are fine, it’s her.” Actually? After standing over Nat Yoannidis, a girl who is roughly five feet one and five feet two, the big, tough Virat scolded her mercilessly. Virat, all you are is a bully. Jones continued.
When it comes to Virat’s performance, except from the century in Perth, this hasn’t been his greatest series in Australia. With a run of poor results in the last two Test matches, the two-time World Champion has only managed to score 126 runs and average 31.50.
