[WATCH] IPL 2025: ‘Everything is going according to us’ – Axar Patel ecstatic about DC’s effort

The captain of Delhi Capitals (DC), Axar Patel, is pleased with the team’s performance in the current Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The competition began with four consecutive wins for them. After that, they suffered defeats in one match against the Gujarat Titans (GT) and one match against the Mumbai Indians (MI). Other than that, they have won six of the last eight games.

Axar Patel, Abhishek Porel, Tristan Stubbs, and KL Rahul have all made some fantastic innings in the majority of games. The team has won games thanks to the bowlers’ ability to take wickets when it matters most. The input of the batters helped the Delhi-based team win a Super Over resoundingly. Still, Mitchell Starc deserves most of the credit for conceding just ten runs in the Super Over and defending nine runs in the final over.

Axar discussed the team lineup and the players’ strong performance in an interview on Star Sports, which is fantastic for a captain. Just two more victories will get DC into the playoffs. Nevertheless, they will need to continue winning more games if they are to place in the top two because GT is also playing well.
