Ashutosh Sharma said in a pregame statement, “The squad has a great atmosphere. I’ve been in Delhi for a year now. Before the season, I was thrilled to play for DC, and I think our current style of play is fantastic. It’s wonderful to be in Delhi, and we can’t wait to perform in front of our home audience. We will keep playing the same way we have.
“Axar Patel is an excellent captain. Speaking about playing under Axar Patel’s captaincy,
he continued, “He is leading the team really well, and all the youngsters are very comfortable within the setup, so we are able to talk to each other freely.”
Sharma responded, “No, I don’t think too much,” when asked about facing the formidable Mumbai Indians bowling lineup, which includes Jasprit Bumrah. I don’t complicate things. All you have to do is watch the ball and hit it. That is my belief, and that is all.
“If you are well-prepared, it doesn’t matter whether you are playing in Delhi or Vizag,” Sharma stated in reference to the circumstances in Delhi. Additionally, everyone understands how the wicket will play here because they have all played a significant amount of cricket in Delhi.”
Sharma responded, “I always focus on the process, and it becomes easy,” when asked about his role as an Impact player and game time. I also don’t feel a lot of pressure. After the game, I don’t consider winning or losing. I am aware that I must win the match when I am given the batting position. I must perform well. I also need to practise if I don’t obtain the batting. I keep things straightforward.
The Delhi Capitals have won all four of their games so far, while the Mumbai Indians have won one and lost four of their five games.
