But it’s his pre-ball antics that really make him stand out from other bowlers. Interestingly, Balaji K is renowned for using a distinct bowling motion for each of the six deliveries in his over. Sometimes he runs in by kicking off his virtual scooter, leaving the batters stunned. Other times, he points his hands in unexpected directions to divert the batter.

He has even been observed jogging toward the bowling crease while using a virtual steering wheel on one occasion, but he also hobbled there. Balaji K peculiar bowling moves are becoming more and more popular on social media, shocking online users. The leg-spinner’s ability to bowl carrom balls is another way in which he resembles the renowned Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, aside from his motion.

In the SS Rajan T20 Trophy match that the first clip is from, Balaji scored 19 runs in three overs while playing for Thiruvarur, helping his team defeat Tirupattur by three wickets. Notably, Thiruvarur finished at the bottom of the points table with just one victory from four games, making it their lone victory in the competition. He scored 1/7 (1 over), 0/38 (4 overs), and 0/6 (2 overs) in the three previous games.
