On Thursday, February 20, Bangladesh will play India in the opening match of their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Along with India, New Zealand, and Pakistan, Najmul Hossain Shanto and his team are assigned to Group A.
After losing eight of their last 12 games, Bangladesh hasn’t played well in the 50-over format since the last ODI World Cup. They lost to Afghanistan, New Zealand, and the West Indies last year, although they did win a series in Sri Lanka.
