Following their victory at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, Team India has been awarded INR 58 crore in cash by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
This monetary award celebrates the Men’s Selection Committee members, coaching and support staff, and players.
With four decisive wins on their way to the final, India dominated the competition under the capable and wise leadership of Rohit Sharma. The squad defeated Bangladesh by six wickets to start the campaign, and they defeated Pakistan by six wickets as well. Before defeating Australia by four wickets in the semi-final, they maintained their momentum with a 44-run triumph over New Zealand. They won the top match against New Zealand by four wickets, securing the trophy.
