The 2025 NAMAN Awards were held on Saturday, February 1st, at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Several Indian regional and international cricket players were awarded for their exceptional accomplishments at the event, which took place in Mumbai, commonly referred to as the city of dreams.
‘Best International Cricketer-Women’ and ‘Highest run-getter in Women’s ODIs’ were the two categories in which star cricketer Smriti Mandhana was recognised for her outstanding performances. Deepti Sharma, who took the most wickets in the One-Day format the previous season, was also recognised for the category.
Meanwhile, the BCCI presented Sachin Tendulkar, the renowned former cricket player, with the Col. C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award.
The ‘Polly Umrigar Best International Cricket – Men’ award went to Jasprit Bumrah, the star of the show. The Ahmedabad native took 71 Test wickets in year and was named Player of the Tournament in India’s successful run at the T20 World Cup 2024. Notably, in January 2025, the ICC awarded Bumrah the Sir Garfield Sobers Best International Men’s Cricketer award.
