After their current term ends, the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) will be letting go of some of its support staff, including Abhishek Nayar,
T Dilip, and Soham Desai, according to Devajit Saikia, the secretary of the board.
Following the events, Saikia announced at a recent news conference that the Indian board has taken recent initiatives and advancements. Also, for everyone’s reference, an official statement about the same might be released. In the same vein, he authorised the BCCI to confirm the news by issuing a press release.
“Some things are about to be finalised. A press note from BCCI would be sent to you in a few days,” News18 reported Saikia as adding.
We have yet to find replacements for the Fielding Coach and the Indian Assistant Coach. But according to reports, Adrian Le Roux, who is currently employed by PBKS and has previously worked for BCCI, has taken the job of the S&C Coach. A week ago, the trio received word that BCCI was ending their relationship. In advance of India’s trip of England, it stated that there might not be any fresh hires.
Last week, Nayar, Dilip, and Soham were made aware of it. Currently, the Indian board will not have any new appointees, according to a story in the Indian Express.
BCCI fires support employees after reviewing the BGT loss.
Even when Rahul Dravid led the BCCI, the three were employed there. They will probably leave, though, because there will be fewer support employees. A conference with prominent figures like Rohit Sharma, Gautam Gambhir, Ajit Agarkar, and Saikia was held by the BCCI following India’s defeat in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
