England lost the series against Pakistan 2-1 after suffering consecutive losses after winning the first Test by an innings and 47 runs. The Shan Masood-led team achieved their first Test series victory over the Three Lions since 2015 thanks to their reliance on the spin department and the great adjustments they made following the first game’s loss.
After losing the series, especially because they were crushed 3-0 in 2022, England captain Ben Stokes was devastated.
