Chennai Super Kings, one of the most successful teams in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL), have experienced an early setback as anticipation for the 2023 edition of the tournament builds. Ben Stokes, an English all-rounder who was recruited by CSK in December, has lately revealed that he will not be with the team for the remainder of the competition. The recently released IPL schedule indicated that the tournament’s final will take place on May 28, just four days before England’s Test match against Ireland. Stokes’ absence may be devastating for CSK, particularly as the campaign nears its conclusion.
