This week’s episode of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ promises to be a cricketing joy, starring Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir, Rishabh Pant, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Abhishek Sharma. The Netflix series, hosted by Kapil Sharma, blends humour with personal moments, providing fans with a rare look of cricketers off the pitch.

The promo begins with Kapil mocking Gambhir about giving the squad “permission” to have fun on the show, to which Gambhir cleverly responds that he instead needs permission from the young cricketers. Following that, there is a wonderful mix of dugout banter and light-hearted exchanges as each cricketer exposes their own brand of comedy. Former Indian opener, who was frequently viewed as serious on the pitch, stunned the crowd with his sharp comic timing.

Indian Test vice-captain Pant was also seen at his joyful best, with cheeky comments and funny quips that elicited laughs from both the audience and host Kapil. Chahal jumped in with his typical banter, and his chemistry with Pant brightened up the episode’s teaser. Abhishek, a kid, also provided composed yet genuine energy to the giggling mayhem.

The major highlight of the episode is the return of Sunil Grover as Manjot Singh Sidhu, a flamboyant spoof of a familiar face. He was dressed in exaggerated attire and delivering classic ‘Sidhu-isms’.
