The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 Trophy Tour made a visit in India as part of its exciting global tour.
After completing its tour through all eight participant countries, the Trophy Tour will now go to its final destination in Pakistan. Around the world, anticipation is already growing for the competition, which will be held in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates from February 19 to March 9.
Wankhede Stadium, Shivaji Park, the Gateway of India, Carter Road, the historic Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Bandstand, and other well-known sites were among the popular destinations the trophy visited during its first stop on the Trophy Tour in Mumbai.
Many excited admirers took pictures and photographs to document the occasion as the prized cutlery made its way through Mumbai’s lively streets.
The trophy’s appearance at the Wankhede Stadium’s 50th anniversary celebration on January 19 was a highlight of the Mumbai leg. At the event, India captain Rohit Sharma posed with the trophy alongside ICC Hall of Famers Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, and Diana Edulji, as well as former India leaders Dilip Vengsarkar, Ravi Shastri, and Ajinkya Rahane.
Cricket fans from all across the city flocked to Bengaluru for the Trophy Carnival, which was held at the Nexus Shantiniketan Mall.
During its subsequent tour of the city, the trophy stopped at several of Bengaluru’s most cherished sites, such as Bengaluru Palace, Freedom Park, KR Market, Town Hall, St. Mary’s Basilica, M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Church Street, and Vidyarthi Bhavan. The chance for Bengaluru fans to see the trophy up close stoked anticipation for the next competition.
