As the excitement of India’s greatest cricket match draws nearer every day, cricket fans and experts are already making predictions on whether the 10 Indian Premier League (IPL) teams will be retained. The well-known Chennai Super Kings (CSK) IPL team gave a significant clue about their potential retentions on Tuesday night, one day before the IPL retentions deadline.
It is noteworthy that the teams have been given an IPL retention deadline of October 31. As a result, there is a lot of competition for the top candidates and sure-shot retentions, particularly now that the governing council has proposed new legislation. CSK’s social media statement following MS Dhoni’s recent clarification on his involvement in the 2025 IPL season sparked speculation and enthusiasm about their potential final retentions. According to their article, Chennai is on the verge of five retentions while maintaining the Right to Match card (RTM).
The emojis used in the tweet, which included rowing boats, helicopters, horses, and other vehicles, provided some clues. Even though it was challenging to guess and come up with specific names, many think that the helicopter is a clear clue that MS Dhoni will be wearing the yellow jersey once more. Rachin Ravindra or Devon Conway were the New Zealand players denoted by the emojis such as Kiwi fruit. Surprisingly, the sword and horse emojis led to Ravindra Jadeja’s name.
The cause? It’s no secret among fans that Jadeja celebrates with a sword-like bat wave everytime he reaches fifty or higher. In addition, he enjoys horseback riding.
