The reigning champion Chennai Super Kings unveiled their new uniform on Instagram ahead of the 17th Indian Premier League (IPL). This is the flagship competition.
Clad in their signature yellow uniforms, the five-time winners unveiled their merchandising selection for the next campaign and declared that pre-orders were now available.
To honor the Indian army for all of their contributions to the nation, the golden colors, as in past seasons, will be paired with a camouflage strip on both shoulders. Above the CSK emblem, five stars will also be displayed, one for each of the Chennai Super Kings’ IPL championship victories.

All eyes will be on the Chennai Super Kings as the team looks to go all the way once more and win their sixth IPL crown, with the 17th edition of the competition quickly approaching. The team made history in 2023 when they defeated the Gujarat Titans in the tournament’s championship match to earn their fifth title. With five titles overall, they are now tied with the Mumbai Indians for the most success in IPL history.
With eight victories out of a possible fourteen games, CSK placed second in the IPL 2023 standings with 17 points, narrowly behind the winners, the Gujarat Titans.
The team, led by MS Dhoni, won the championship by putting on a strong showing the entire time. They also made history by being the first team to get to the championship game, having defeated the Gujarat Titans in both the summit match and the first qualifier.
