On March 31, the 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is set to start, and fans can’t wait to see their favorite players compete in the biggest T20 competition in the world. The Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, two of the most successful franchises in the sport, are widely seen to have the best chances of winning the championship this time around, as preparations are already well underway.
Sreesanth, a former Indian bowler, had a different viewpoint and recently spoke out about the chances of several clubs in the 2017 IPL. In his opinion, Royal Challengers Bangalore can win the IPL this year, whereas CSK would not be able to do so. Moreover, Sreesanth stated that while he will support Sanju Samson and the Rajasthan Royals, he would be thrilled if Virat Kohli were to win the championship. He also considered how the competition might get even more fascinating if a team that hasn’t won the championship before makes it all the way to the finals.
In a video, Sreesanth remarked, “I don’t think CSK can win; I want RCB to win so that Virat Kohli can carry the crown.

After a dramatic game, the Gujarat Titans defeated the Rajasthan Royals in the championship match of the 2022 IPL. The team led by Hardik Pandya finished the IPL with 20 points after 14 games, taking the top spot. Once more, they will aim to completely dominate the competition.
CSK strengthened the team and increased their chances of winning the championship by acquiring Ben Stokes.
