RCB’s campaign in IPL 2025
RCB began their IPL 2025 campaign on a high note, defeating the 2024 champions KKR in their own backyard in the season’s first match, which marked the beginning of their away winning streak. They followed up with a win over CSK in Chennai, their first since 2008.
While RCB continued to dominate away sites such as Jaipur and Mullanpur, they suffered defeats at home to clubs such as Gujarat Titans, Delhi Capitals, and Punjab Kings. RCB discovered a winning formula at home, defeating RR and CSK before the season was temporarily halted for security reasons.
RCB fell to SRH in Lucknow before defeating LSG by chasing 227 to qualify for Qualifier 1. In Qualifier 1, RCB easily defeated PBKS by 101 runs. In the final, RCB defeated PBKS again by 6 runs to claim their first IPL title.
