Excitement is growing for the ninth edition of the competition, which will be held in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates from February 19 to March 9, after the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 Trophy Tour recently concluded its exciting England leg.
The trophy was brought back to The Oval, the site of the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy final, where 2025 hosts Pakistan won, for the England leg.
In front of the iconic setting, England wicketkeeper Jamie Smith, who will play in his debut Champions Trophy, expressed his excitement for the occasion. Smith talked about his anticipation for playing in Pakistan, his excitement, and England’s goals going into the competition.
The exquisite cutlery travelled to some of London’s most famous sights, such as Tower Bridge, Big Ben, the London Eye, Piccadilly Circus and Borough Market, adding to the spectacle. This tour stop honoured the relationship between England’s dynamic cultural treasures and cricket’s global heritage.
Another significant milestone in the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 Trophy Tour is the England leg, which comes after successful stops in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
The trophy will take part in another exciting program of events at famous sites and fan interactions in Bangalore, Mumbai, and other places during the tour’s next stop in India.
