On Wednesday, October 25, at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, Australian opener David Warner continued his incredible success in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, scoring his second hundred of the competition against the Netherlands. The southpaw finished the event with 300 runs thanks to a spectacular 104 off 93 balls, smashing 11 fours and three sixes.
The Australian opener celebrated his breakthrough three-figure score with a famous “Pushpa” leap, drawing inspiration from the Allu Arjun-starring Indian film “Pushpa: The Rise.”

David Warner received a break earlier in the innings when he smashed a low full toss to Roelof van der Merwe at short cover in the 23rd over.
David Warner was then on 73. Warner was positive he had grounded the catch, even if the Dutch player claimed it, and he indicated as much with his body language on the field. After reviewing the replays, the third umpire was consulted by the on-field umpires, who concluded that Van der Merwe had grounded the ball.
As a result, Warner was granted permission to extend his innings, and he took full advantage of the break. They lost their opener Mitchell Marsh (9 off 15) in the fourth over, but the Australian opener saved their side with a huge 132-run stand for the second wicket off 118 balls.
Steve Smith regains his physical form
After a run of poor performances, Smith also recovered his form. With the aid of nine fours and sixes, he played an innings of 71 off 68 balls to get his first fifty of the tournament. Marnus Labuschagne scored an incredible 62 runs off of 47 balls as well.
But Glenn Maxwell took center stage with his amazing knock of 106 (44) a little bit lower in the sequence. In just 40 balls, he broke the record for the fastest century in ODI World Cup history, and he contributed to his team’s enormous 399/8 total in the 50 overs that were allocated to them.
