On Monday, March 3, in Match 15 of the Women’s Premier League 2025 at the Ekana International Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, Deandra Dottin hit two goals in the opening over of UP Warriorz’ run-chase to put pressure on the hosts.
UP-W got off to the worst start possible, chasing 187 for win with the explosive On the second delivery of the second innings, Kiran Navgire was out for a golden duck. At second slip, Phoebe Litchfield pouched the thick outside edge. The WPL rookie, Georgia Voll, was bowled with a full inswinging ball four deliveries later, including a wide delivery, leaving UP-W in serious difficulty right away.

Dayalan Hemalatha was out of the game in the opening over earlier in the evening. In the powerplay, GG-W got off to a slow start, giving up just 40 runs in the first six overs. Harleen Deol and wicketkeeper-batter Beth Mooney worked together to move their team to a much stronger position in the game after that.
With 96* off 59 deliveries and an innings that included 17 fours, Mooney finished undefeated.
In addition, Deandra Dottin helped set up 186/5 at the end of 20 overs with a cameo of 17 runs off eight balls in the last stretch.
With just 31 runs given up in four overs, Chinelle Henry proved to be the most economical bowler.
The game ended with GG-W defeating the hosts by a decisive 81-run score following an outstanding performance. With their individual three-wicket hauls, Kashvee Gautam and Tanuja Kanwar were brilliant with the ball. With their third WPL 2025 win, GG-W moved up to second place in the standings.
