At the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Deepti Sharma delivered the opening blow to Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women in Match 9 of the current Women’s Premier League. On the fourth delivery of the fourth over, the captain of the UP Warriorz Women eliminated her rival number.
Smriti Mandhana, the captain of RCB-W, was ultimately crowded for space and had to make a delivery that was too wide and too short to cut. In the end, the ball deflected onto the stumps from the bat’s inside half. It’s interesting to note that Deepti defeated Smriti for the third time in three WPL tournaments.

Perry and Wyatt-Hodge led the charge following Smriti Mandhana early defeat.
Following the early departure of their side’s skipper, Danni Wyatt-Hodge and Ellyse Perry did more than simply keep the ship afloat. After hitting 57 off 41 deliveries, the former was removed in the innings’ fifteenth over. Perry finished undefeated on 90 off 56 deliveries as she sailed to yet another significant knock for RCB-W.
Sophie Ecclestone was the most impressive bowler for UP-W. Her four-over spell ended with economical figures of 0/29. With the exception of the Smriti’s wicket, Deepti’s day with the ball was poor. She ultimately gave up 42 runs. In order to win the WPL for the second time this season, the tourists will be chasing 181. Four middle-order hitters for RCB-W scored 8, 5, 7, and 2 runs each, giving the host club what could be described as a two-man effort.
