The ECB’s decision to rename the Pataudi Trophy the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy has sparked controversy. Members of the Pataudi family and Sunil Gavaskar have expressed concern about the former Indian captain’s legacy. As a result, the board has reportedly opted to maintain the Pataudi connection in the marquee series.
