A star After a recent violation of the PCB’s (Pakistan Cricket Board) code of conduct, Pakistani batsman Fakhar Zaman is apparently going to receive only a reprimand. It is also anticipated that he will be called up to the national team and added to the board’s central contracts list.
Remarkably, Zaman recently defended Babar Azam in a tweet following his expulsion from Pakistan’s team. A show-cause warning was delivered by the board to Fakhar in response to the message, but the 34-year-old responded with another tweet. Similarly, the PCB is allegedly seeking to establish a committee to investigate the response that Fakhar put out. The PCB’s core contract list for 2024–2025 did not include Fakhar Zaman, and he was not selected for the forthcoming series between Australia and Zimbabwe.
“Fakhar apologises and shows regret in his response. “Internal talks between the selectors, the new captain, and PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi bode well for Fakhar,” the Times of India reported, citing a source.
It is probable that he will be added to the central contracts list after first being included in the team for the SA white ball matches. The source went on to say that Rizwan and the selectors decided that Fakhar was still needed for the white ball team, particularly since Pakistan will host the Champions Trophy competition early the following year.
Next up for Pakistan is Australia.
Regarding Pakistan, they are prepared to travel to Australia for their upcoming white-ball match. In three ODIs and three T20Is, the two teams will square off. Mohammed Rizwan will be expected to captain Pakistan on the trip of Australia after being named the new captain of the white ball squad.

In addition, Fakhar Zaman has not yet been named to the squad, and despite reports, his prospects of being included for the Australia tour appear slim given the recent turbulence surrounding him.
