The 18th edition of the Indian prominent League (IPL) 2025 and the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) are two prominent T20 competitions that are taking place at the same time, and the T20 craze has never been higher.
There have been a lot of high-scoring matches in the PSL, but the IPL has had a good mix of high-octane run chases and low-scoring thrillers. In the midst of all the cricket action, the Delhi Capitals (DC) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) played their first Super Over in the 2025 IPL. Mitchell Starc bowled DC’s last over, protecting nine runs and forcing the match into a Super Over, in which DC won.
An unusual incident that attracted a lot of attention involved a PSL fan in the stadium who was observed using his phone to watch the IPL match live.
In addition to demonstrating the IPL’s widespread appeal among cricket fans worldwide, the video swiftly went viral on social media. Discussions about how closely cricket is ingrained in fans’ lives and how the IPL keeps viewers enthralled even when a PSL game is taking place were triggered by it.

There’s no denying the passion for both leagues. With a number of well-known figures from international cricket playing in both competitions, the enthusiasm only becomes bigger every day.
The IPL 2025, which started with ten teams on March 22, will end on May 25. The grand final will take place in Kolkata’s famous Eden Gardens. Six competing teams will compete in the PSL, which began on April 11 during the IPL season and ends one week early on May 18.
