IPL 2025: Funniest Memes from GT vs RR Mid-Innings of Match 23

The Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) faced off in Match No. 23 of the 2025 edition on Wednesday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in a replay of the IPL 2022 final. Sai Sudharsan’s 82 and other batsmen’s contributions to GT’s outstanding batting performance allowed them to score 217/6 in their allocated 20 overs.

The home team recovered after losing Shubman Gill early to a peach of a delivery from Jofra Archer thanks to a collaboration between Jos Buttler and Sudharsan. The innings was anchored by Sudharsan’s knock, but the English batter’s 36 off 25 kept the scoreboard moving. With the exception of Jofra Archer (1/30), RR’s bowlers had a lacklustre performance. Theekshana (2/54) had trouble with his lines, and Deshpande took two wickets but gave up 53 runs. Wanindu Hasaranga was replaced by Fazalhaq Farooqi, who was costly and went wicketless. The ball may slip under the lights, and Rajasthan’s hitters will need to take full advantage of the red-soil pitch, which is predicted to stay suitable for batting.
