A franchise Gujarat Titans (GT), who had defeated RCB and SRH in back-to-back away games, will return to their home field. With those victories, GT now has three straight wins. The Rajasthan Royals (RR) are now in seventh place in the Indian Premier League’s 2025 points standings, despite having won their last two games.
Mohammed Siraj, a local boy, was used by GT to destroy SRH in their most recent match. They basically followed the same plan from their victory over RCB in Bengaluru. Siraj claimed two wickets on a sluggish pitch during the powerplay. Siraj achieved his highest IPL statistics ever with the best support from Prasidh Krishna and Sai Kishore. After GT struggled and lost two wickets quickly, Washington Sundar ultimately ended SRH’s chances of winning the match. The chase ended early thanks to an electrifying cameo from Sherfane Rutherford and a fifty from Shubman Gill.
Prior to this match, RR defeated PBKS at Mullanpur, winning an away match as well. Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag got off to a great start, supporting Yashasvi Jaiswal’s cautious fifty, and RR amassed a substantial total. In the powerplay, Jofra Archer made things tough for the batters for the second time in two games. Despite the valiant efforts of Nehal Wadhera, PBKS never recovered from Archer’s blast.

More matches have been won here chasing than defending, and with GT’s prowess in the second innings this season, that option would be preferable.
