After the third Test at the legendary Lord’s Cricket Ground in London ended on Monday, July 14, the India’s cricket team took a couple of days off. They began practice on Thursday to prepare for the fourth Test, which begins next week at Old Trafford in Manchester.
In a viral video on social media, RevSportz journalist Rohit Juglan stated that the Indian players were listening to the “Hanuman Chalisa,” a Hindu devotional hymn celebrating Lord Hanuman, in the dressing room before beginning their training session.

India’s lost the third Test by just 22 runs against Ben Stokes and Co.
to go down 1-2 in the five-match series. Seeking blessings from Lord Hanuman was a great way to start the preparations ahead of the Manchester Test as India look to restore parity in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy.
So far in the series, the Men in Blue have performed admirably. Under new skipper Shubman Gill, few cricket fans gave India a chance against an experienced England team. India also had to deal with the retirements of stars such as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. However, the kids who have joined the team have shown a lot of promise in their first three games.
In a recent interview, former India head coach Ravi Shastri stated that if chance had been on their side, India may have led the series 3-0.
Meanwhile, left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh injured his bowling hand while bowling on Thursday. He was seen with a bandage on his hand following practice. The Punjab seamer could be called up if India decide to rest Jasprit Bumrah in Manchester. Mohammed Siraj has also played all three Tests and may be due for a rest. However, with India behind 1-2 in the series, they would prefer to go into the Manchester Test with their best XI.
