On Monday, March 31, the Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai to record their first win of the season. Ashwani Kumar, who made his debut, was the driving force behind this victory and astounded KKR with his performance.
In the meantime, skipper Hardik Pandya gave the 23-year-old bowler some pointers before their match against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on April 4.
By complimenting him and reassuring him that the entire team and support staff are behind him, Hardik gave the athlete confidence. On social media, MI posted a video of the captain urging the player to “stick to the plan” in each game and continue doing what he did in the last one.
“Be ready. Make every effort and follow the plan. Enjoy each and every game you play. I don’t have any preconceived notions before every game. I simply attempt to carry out my arrangements. Kyu mila tujhe success? (What made you successful?) because you continued to bowl at the proper line and length and adhered to your plans. In a video uploaded by Mumbai Indians, Pandya stated, “You just follow your plan and the rest will follow.”

You are good, which is why you are here: Hardik Pandya
He should never ‘question’ himself, Hardik Pandya subtly told the bowler. Performance will suffer during some games, but it shouldn’t be a cause for self-doubt. In his motivational speech, Hardik also shared personal anecdotes.
Doubting oneself is something else you should avoid. You are good, which is why you are here. There are already 15 to 20 individuals in front of you who are against you, including their supporters and admirers, if you don’t think you are the best. Pandya continued, “Then you won’t be able to give yourself a chance.”
