Hasin Jahan, Mohammed Shami’s estranged wife, says of her husband’s World Cup success, “His performance will bring more money for us.”

Mohammed Shami, a fast bowler from India, has been smashing records in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, becoming the team’s top wicket-taker from India. Notably, Hasin Jahan filed a police case in Jadavpur in 2018 accusing Shami of adultery and domestic abuse. She even said that the cricket player had engaged in match-fixing. The quick bowler, nevertheless, refuted every accusation made against him and is still battling the divorce in court.

The Kolkata High Court mandated earlier this year that Shami give maintenance to Hasin Jahan in the amount of INR 50,000 per month and pay INR 80,000 for his daughter.
