Star batter Virat Kohli has chosen a spiritual path during the last five to seven years, according to Indian batsman Shikhar Dhawan. He added that he speaks with Kohli about the subject on a regular basis. Since he was left off the ODI squad in January, Dhawan has been vying for a spot back in the Indian team.
Kohli has made a point of talking openly about his spirituality over the past few years and how it has helped him to calm down. Along with visiting numerous temples, he has an entirely different outlook on life, thanks to his wife, Anushka Sharma.
“I do speak with Virat Kohli about spiritual matters. In the last five to seven years, he has tended to be rather spiritual. He has influenced many individuals, “on “The Ranveeer Show Hindi,” remarked Shikhar Dhawan.
The former India skipper had been having trouble with the bat since 2020 and hadn’t recorded a century in an international cricket match for more than a thousand days. In a 2022 interview, Kohli admitted that it was the worst time in his life, one in which he didn’t even want to pick up a bat.
He was able to escape it nonetheless by choosing a religious path and paying regular visits to numerous temples across the nation. He has greatly benefited from it, as he has scored runs in all formats and broke his protracted century drought.
