On Wednesday in New Delhi, the 40th encounter between the Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans took place. The Delhi Capitals won the match by a score of four runs. Delhi’s victory caused them to climb up the points standings from position eight to six.
Gujarat Titans, on the other hand, dropped from sixth to seventh place in the same rankings. The Delhi Capitals delivered a double punch with their fourth victory of the year, coming after they had defeated the Gujarat Titans earlier in the campaign.
At the moment, Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad are closely behind Rajasthan Royals in the points standings with 14 points each. With a Net Run Rate (NRR) of -0.974, the Gujarat Titans’ hopes of making the playoffs seem to be in doubt. The Gujarat Titans must win each of the next five league-stage games in order to resolve this problem.
