During India’s recent Champions Trophy 2025 match against Pakistan, star Indian batsman Virat Kohli once again made history by becoming the fastest batter to amass 14,000 ODI runs.
In addition to helping his team win by six wickets, his undefeated hundred off 111 balls sparked comparisons to the great Sachin Tendulkar.
On Sunday, March 2, Virat Kohli will play his 300th ODI against New Zealand.

With 51 hundreds, 73 half-centuries, and a top score of 183, Kohli has amassed 14,085 runs at an average of 58.20 and a strike rate of 93.41 in 287 innings after 299 ODIs. Tendulkar, on the other hand, amassed 11,537 runs with a strike rate of 86.64 and an average of 44.20 in 290 innings, including 33 hundreds and 56 fifties.
