But when PBKS travels to play their next two games away from home, they will face their biggest challenges. The first trip will be to Eden Gardens to play the Kolkata Knight Riders, which will come after a CSK match in Chennai. Though it is still possible for PBKS to win those games, history points to a different conclusion.
Then, in their rematch against CSK and RCB, Shikhar Dhawan’s team will host two matches in Dharamshala. PBKS would have played twelve games by now, and they should ideally have seven victories from those twelve games to earn 14 points.
The season’s final two games are both away from home, with the first one taking place against the Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati. When PBKS plays SRH away from home in the final game of the season, the playoff spots might already be determined.
