New Delhi, November 17, 2023: Tomorrow at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi, the GMR group-owned franchisee, India Capitals, will begin their title defense against Bhilwara Kings in the second season of Legends League Cricket (LLC) T20.
Gautam Gambhir, who captained the team to the championship in the first season, will skipper the India Capitals. Hashim Amla and Kevin Pietersen will strengthen the team and make sure the trophy stays in the Capitals dugout. Ashley Nurse and Pravin Tambe return from the championship-winning season.
The India Capitals vs Bhilwara Kings league opener will be shown LIVE on Star Sports Network on November 18, 2023 (Saturday), starting at 6:30 PM IST. Disney + Hotstar and FanCode will also be providing live streaming for the match.
This season, all the teams will compete against one another in a total of 15 group stage matches. The Bhilwara Kings, Gujarat Giants, Southern Super Stars, Urbanrisers Hyderabad, and Manipal Tigers are the other teams competing. The JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi, the Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium in Dehradun, the Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu, the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat, and the YSR Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in YSR Reddy will host the LLC T20 in five different cities throughout the nation.
The Capitals will visit Ranchi for two of their group stage games and Jammu, Dehradun, Vizag, and Surat for one apiece. The Legends League Cricket 2023 final will take place on December 9 at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat, where the playoffs will be held.
