U19 Asia Cup 2025: India announce 15-man team, Ayush Mhatre to lead

The Junior Cricket Committee has selected the India U19 roster for the forthcoming ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup, which will be held in Dubai beginning December 12th. Young opening batter Ayush Mhatre has been named captain of the side, with Vihaan Malhotra serving as his deputy for the eight-team event. Meanwhile, notable players such as Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Vedant Trivedi have joined the club.

Abhigyan Kundu will play the primary wicketkeeper duty. Harvansh Singh has been chosen as a backup wicketkeeper. Other prominent members of the squad include Khilan Patel, Naman Pushpak, and Henil Patel. Aside from the 15-member team, the selectors have added four players as backup.

Note: Kishan Kumar Singh’s participation in the continental tournament is subject to fitness clearance. The selection committee has also picked Rahul Kumar, Hemchudeshan J, B.K. Kishore, Aditya Rawat as the four standby players in their original squad.

ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2025 Schedule

India will be kickstarting their campaign on Friday, December 12 at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai, followed by the high-octane clash against Pakistan at the same venue a couple of days later. Their third and final group stage encounter will be played on Tuesday at The Seven’s facility. Meanwhile, both the semi-finals will be played on Friday, December 19, with the summit clash set to be played on Sunday, December 21.
