The Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium in Nagpur will host the opening match of the India vs. England Men’s ODI Series 2025 on February 6, 2025. As the two teams hone their preparations for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, the three-match series will be an entertaining matchup.

India and England’s renowned and intense ODI rivalry, in which India has historically dominated and won 58 of 107 meetings, will be reignited by the series. India has an even better record when playing at home, winning 34 of 52 games. The two countries’ most recent meeting in ODIs took place in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023, which India won by 100 runs in Lucknow.
Following their recent First-Class assignments, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul rejoin the ODI team, and Mohammed Shami will play his first ODI since November 2023. Shubman Gill has been named vice-captain, and Rohit Sharma remains captain.
