The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 experienced a delayed start to its 24th match in Jaipur because of mild rain. The Gujarat Titans (GT) and the undefeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) squared off on Wednesday. Shubman Gill won the toss and decided to bowl first in order to take advantage of the better chasing conditions.
Kuldeep Sen made his season debut, and both teams made a few alterations to their lineup. The Gujarat Titans rested Kane Williamson while welcoming back Matthew Wade, their specialist wicketkeeper.
Powerplay: First Strategic Time-out (Mandatory: 43/2) and Overs 0.1 to 6.
Yashasvi Jaiswal scored several wonderful shots to help the Rajasthan Royals get off to a good start. Umesh Yadav bowled out Jaiswal, who Matthew Wade caught for 24. Rashid Khan caught Jos Buttler in the slips for eight runs after he had hit a century in the previous game.
Rajasthan Royals: 7.3 overs yielding 50 runs
Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag started off carefully on a pitch that was giving the bowlers a lot of assistance. The two players appeared to want to stay put for a while, so the 50 came up far too slowly for the Royals’ taste.
Rajasthan Royals have a fifty-two partnership (off 42 balls).
Following the loss of two early wickets, Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag performed admirably at the bat. Riyan Parag broke their 50-run partnership with a six off Noor Ahmed.
Rajasthan Royals: 12.4 overs and 100 runs
For the home squad, Riyan Parag appeared to be a man on a mission. With seven overs remaining, Rajasthan Royals reached their century thanks to a second six off Noor Ahmed.
Riyan Parag, half-century (off 34 balls)
Riyan Parag appeared to be trying to highlight the significant moments with big shots against the Titans. He reached his third IPL half-century of the 2024 season with his third six of the innings.
Second Strategic time-out for the Rajasthan Royals (134/2 from 15)
Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag gave a fantastic display at bat. After the initial time-out, the two stars ensured that RR didn’t lose any more wickets. Sanju Samson showed his intentions by letting go and hitting Spencer Johnson for two fours and a massive six.

Rajasthan Royals and their century partnership (off 66 balls)
To reach the century-run mark, Riyan Parag and Sanju Samson needed just 24 balls to hit their subsequent 50 runs. As the ball slid for a four after Umesh Yadav misplayed it, Riyan Parag struck a helicopter shot.
Rajasthan Royals: in 16.5 overs, 150 runs scored
The bowlers for the Gujarat Titans kept having terrible luck with the bat. With three overs remaining, Shubman Gill witnessed the RR hitters carry on having fun and reach the 150 mark.
Sanju Samson (off 31 balls) in the half-century
Sanju Samson of the Rajasthan Royals earned his second half-century in two games and his third half-century of the 2024 season. After yet another misfield, the Titans raised this milestone.
Rajasthan Royals: 196/3 from 20 overs at the end of the innings
Riyan Parag performed admirably until Vijay Shankar and Mohit Sharma trapped him after scoring 76 from 49 balls. As the Royals proceeded to build a huge score on the board, Shimron Hetmyer came out swinging.
