As the Delhi Capitals (DC) continue their IPL 2025 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), fielder Jake Fraser-McGurk made a spectacular catch to eliminate the dangerous Aniket Verma. Given the level of effort the fielder put forth in the deep mid-wicket area, it could be a candidate for “Catch of the Season.”
Verma was hitting every DC bowler with good strokes. However, a slow short ball bowled by Kuldeep Yadav ended his offensive innings.
The ball was smashed strongly by Verma, who had just blasted a six off the previous delivery. Fraser-McGurk sprinted to his right, making the incredible catch by perfectly timing his leap.
The SRH batsman had to head back to the pavilion following an outstanding display. The Jhansi native hit five fours and six maximums in his 74 runs off 41 balls. A decent score was posted by SRH thanks in large part to the innings.

For DC, Mitchell Starc was the pick of the bowlers taking five wickets, conceding 35 runs. Kuldeep Yadav was the next best bowler with figures of 3/22 off four overs.
DC began their chase with Fraser-McGurk and Faf du Plessis as the score at the time of writing read 11/0 after two overs.
