The 35th IPL 2025 match pits the Delhi Capitals (DC) against the Gujarat Titans (GT). Karun Nair gave an incredible performance during the current game at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Nair hit two boundaries and two sixes in his explosive 31-run total off 18 balls.
From the other end, KL Rahul provided him with excellent support, scoring 28 runs off of 14 balls. But in the ninth over, Nair was dismissed by Prasidh Krishna, ending his incredible performance. Nair hit a back of a length, outside off delivery in the direction of deep third man.
To his astonishment, the ball flew to Arshad Khan, who made the catch racing to his left with ease. He had expected the ball to go towards the boundary.
The squad was left in a difficult situation when another batter who was in form left.
Tristan Stubbs and skipper Axar Patel appeared to have had things under control even if disaster was looming for the DC.

It was the Titans’ decision to field first, and they must be proud of their bowlers, especially Prasidh Krishna. The bowler has already claimed two wickets in three overs. The home team has a good set of batters who can chase anything over 200+ runs. Hence, the Delhi-based franchise must put up a good score on the board to defend it and maintain the top position in the tournament.
